About DIT

A training institute built around one outcome: work-ready skill.

Dalex Institute of Technology (DIT) has trained professionals in Accra since 2008 — not as a university, but as a focused, practitioner-led training institute for CAD/CADD, IT, project management, security & safety, and TVET.

Our story

Founded in 2008, built for Accra's working professionals

Dalex Institute of Technology was founded in 2008 to close a gap we saw across Ghana's engineering, construction, IT, project, and security sectors: qualified people who needed internationally benchmarked, hands-on training without leaving Accra or pausing their careers to study abroad.

From a single campus at Obrapa House on the Kaneshie–Mallam Highway, DIT has grown into a training institute affiliated with CADD Centre Training Services (India), PECB, City & Guilds, and PMI- and ASIS-aligned programmes — delivering courses across four streams to working professionals, fresh graduates, and career changers alike.

We are not, and do not aim to be, a university. Our courses are shorter, more applied, and built around delivery streams — intensive, regular morning, regular evening, and weekend — so that a full-time job is never a reason to delay retraining.

Mission

To convert our students into our partners by providing a world class training and a unique learning experience for all.

Vision

To become the leading professional and technical training institute in West Africa.

What we stand for

Our values

The principles that shape every course DIT designs and delivers.

Practical over theoretical

Every course is built around the skills employers actually test for — working files and demonstrable competence, not just lecture notes.

Professional integrity

We teach and assess to the same standard our international affiliations hold us to, so a DIT certificate means what it says it means.

Accessible schedules

Intensive, regular morning, regular evening, and weekend streams exist so that a full-time job is never a barrier to retraining.

Partnership, not just enrolment

We aim to convert students into partners — staying connected through further training, referrals, and career support long after graduation.
