Engr. Dr. Alex Acquaye, PhD
Director
Engr. Dr. Alex Acquaye founded DIT in 2008 and has led it since — an engineer and consultant who built the institute on the conviction that Accra's professionals deserve internationally benchmarked, hands-on training without pausing their careers or leaving Ghana. As Director he sets DIT's strategic direction, safeguards the quality of every programme, and drives the industry partnerships and international affiliations the institute trains under.
Mrs. Hannah Koshie Mills Acquaye
HR Director
Mrs. Hannah Koshie Mills Acquaye leads human resources at DIT, where the quality of every course rests on the people who deliver it. She recruits and develops the institute's practitioner-instructors and support staff, and sets the professional, welcoming standard that students and colleagues experience from their first day on campus.
Mr. James Aggrey
Center Manager
Mr. James Aggrey runs the day-to-day operations of the training centre at Obrapa House — coordinating timetables across DIT's intensive, morning, evening, and weekend delivery streams, and keeping classrooms, labs, and equipment ready for every session. He is the first port of call for students on campus, making sure each programme runs as smoothly as it was planned.
Miss Harriet Twum
Students' Counsellor
Miss Harriet Twum guides students from first enquiry to certificate — helping each one choose the course and stream that fits their career goals, and the delivery schedule that fits around work and family. Whether advising a career changer, a fresh graduate, or a busy professional, she remains a steady point of support throughout training.
HariPrasad Pandiyan
Technical Consultant – CAD, BIM & Digital Construction Training
HariPrasad Pandiyan delivers professional training on Autodesk design, BIM, and construction cloud technologies, enabling individuals and organisations to adopt modern digital workflows for planning, design, collaboration, and project delivery.
