DIT (Dalex Institute of Technology) runs practical IT and computer courses at its Accra campus. The current course is MS Office Automation: hands-on Microsoft Office training in Word, Excel and PowerPoint for anyone who needs the office software skills employers in Ghana expect. It leads to a DIT Certificate of Completion after a practical assessment.
The course is built around real office work. In Word you create, format and manage professional documents. In Excel you build workbooks with formulas, functions, pivot tables and charts. In PowerPoint you design and deliver presentations. The final sessions tie the three together, so you can handle documents, data and slides in one workflow.
No prior software experience is needed. If you can turn on a computer and use a mouse and keyboard, you can start. Classes run in morning, evening and weekend streams at the Accra campus, so you can train while working or job-hunting, or as a 1-week intensive if you can set aside a full week.

How long is DIT's Microsoft Office course?

What will I learn in Excel?
How to build workbooks with formulas, functions, pivot tables and charts, and how to use them alongside Word documents and PowerPoint presentations in a real office workflow.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. You receive a DIT Certificate of Completion in MS Office Automation after passing the course's practical assessment.
Does DIT teach programming, graphic design or ethical hacking?
Not at present. Those were past DIT programmes and are not currently offered. The current IT course is MS Office Automation.
